What is the timeline for disputing a Notice to End Tenancy?
This tool applies to tenancies under the Residential Tenancy Act. You can also use this tool for tenancies under the Manufactured Home Park Tenancy Act, if you are renting a pad in a manufactured home park, and you were served with a 10 Day or One Month Notice to End Tenancy. If you were served a 12 Month Notice to End Tenancy for Conversion of a Manufactured Home Park, contact the Residential Tenancy Branch for assistance with the dispute period. To use this tool, you must have the following information:
- The date the Notice to End Tenancy was served by the landlord or landlord's agent;
- The method in which the Notice to End Tenancy was served by the landlord or landlord's agent; and
- The type of Notice to End Tenancy served by the landlord or landlord's agent.
